Prerequisites

Setup Steps

Option 1: Forward SMS to Personal Telegram Bot

1. Open Telegram app
2. Search for @smsforwardingapp_bot or open t.me/smsforwardingapp_bot

3. Tap the bot to open chat, tap Start

4. Copy the Chat ID

5. Create Telegram rule in the Forward SMS app
6. Paste the Chat ID in the app

7. Tap Send Test Message to test the integration
8. Tap "Save"

Option 2: Forward SMS to Telegram Group

1. Open Telegram app
2. Create a new chat group or open an existing group
3. Add @smsforwardingapp_bot to the group

4. Send /chatid command in this group

5. Copy the Chat ID (it's a number like -123456789, with a minus sign)

6. Paste the Chat ID in the app

7. Tap Send Test Message to test the integration
8. Tap "Save"
